The Majik Lapin is a type of Dream Eater that appears in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.

Design

The Majik Lapin's name and design reference the rabbit (Fra: "Lapin"), and the hat-trick, a magic routine in which the magician pulls a rabbit from a seemingly empty hat.

Spirit

Pink and yellow make up most of the Spirit Majik Lapin's body. The face is yellow while the surrounding portions of its head are pink, with two green cheek-like spots on each side. On the sides of its head are two long ears, which end in two diamonds, the diamond on top being slightly smaller than the one on the bottom. The outer section of the ears is pink with yellow diamonds, which is inverted for the inner section of the ears. The chest sports a large yellow stripe and the Spirit Dream Eater sigil, while beneath that is a pink body with a cyan tail and two purple and cyan feet.

Another aspect lies within its clothing. On its head is a blue party hat that transitions to a magenta sphere on top. On the hat are three pink diamonds, the center diamond being larger than the other two. It also sports a blue cloak that has a pattern resembling its hat, pink triangles transitioning to a yellow sphere on top. In the center of the cloak is a spherical pink button that holds the two sides together.

Nightmare

Grey and dark purple make up most of the Nightmare Majik Lapin's body. The face is a dark grey while the surrounding portions of its head are dark purple, with two yellow cheek-like spots on each side. On the sides of its head are two long ears, which end in two diamonds, the diamond on top being slightly smaller than the one on the bottom. The outer section of the ears are grey with yellow diamonds, which, unlike the Spirit Majik Lapin, carries over for the inner section of the ears. The chest sports a large dark purple stripe and the Nightmare Dream Eater sigil, while beneath that is a grey body with a dark purple tail and two red and dark purple feet.

Another aspect lies within its clothing. On its head is a dark purple party hat that transitions to a yellow sphere on top. On the hat are three diamonds that transition from red to purple, the center diamond being larger than the other two. It also sports a dark purple cloak that has a pattern resembling its hat, red triangles transitioning to a red sphere on top. In the center of the cloak is a spherical yellow button that holds the two sides together.

Strategy

The Majik Lapin fights using magic and adopts a defensive stance by blocking all physical attacks until it counters with Me Me Cross.

The Spirit variant also echoes this fondness, as evidenced by the abundance of Magic Haste and Magic Boost abilities as well as a generous selection of magic attacks for both it along with Sora and Riku. Its Accomplice and Spark Jockey dispositions allow it cast spells such as Cure, Spirit Roar, Haste, or Auto-Life. Creating one rewards Riku with Dark Barrier, much like its Me Me Bunny counterpart, at the start of its Ability Link.
